Want to get married in Aruba? Here is some info what you should know.

How to get married in Aruba and information about weddings and ceremonies in Aruba.

All legal civil weddings take place in the historical town hall of Aruba and if you prefer it's possible to make a combination of both civil wedding and symbolic beach ceremony the same day.

Why should we work with an independent wedding planner?

A good independent planner will take your vision and add their experience to it. They will create a custom event from start to finish and are willing to change packages according your needs.

We can choose the most beautiful beaches like Eagle Beach.

Most independent planners answers quickly to you. (our goal is to answer the same day)

Many independent planners are using modern technology like Skype or Whatsapp to narrow the distance between bride and planner.

Independent planners can help you choose your event location based on your needs. they create a package specialy for you so that your day is exactly as you imagined.

How far is this public beach (Eagle beach) from our resort?

This is not going to take longer than 10 minutes with the transportation we provide, no matter where you are staying. You will love it like everybody does.

In regards to the legality of weddings, do we have to be married in the town hall? Or can we get our marriage license there and then have a beach wedding ceremony?

All civil (legal) weddings take place in the historical town hall of Aruba. In addition to your legal wedding (at home, or in Aruba) it is possible to have a symbolic romantic blessing on the beach.

How many days are a couple required to be on the island prior to their civil wedding?

Here on Aruba there is no rule concerning that, although we strongly advise you to keep at least a few days between arrival and wedding date.

We are visiting Aruba with a cruise ship, do we have enough time to have a civil (legal) wedding in Aruba?

If you prefer a civil (legal) wedding in our historical town hall, we take care of all the paperwork in advance, and FedEx your wedding certificate within a week. Symbolic ceremonies on the beach are possible any time of the day, 7 days a week.

I think I saw somewhere that the civil court is not open on Monday.

Weddings in the historical civil town hall are possible from Monday till Friday (10am - 11:30am and 2pm - 3:30pm) Closed on Wednesday afternoon.

How is the weather in Aruba ?

In Aruba the newspapers almost never publish a weather report. They don't need to. Around here, "sunny and warm" is not news. With an average rainfall of less than 20 inches a year, an average daytime temperature of 82° Fahrenheit (27° Celsius), a location outside the hurricane belt, and the constant cooling influence of the trade winds, Aruba is one of the most temperate islands in the Caribbean. And just as comfortable in July as it is in January.
